LA’s Premier Landscape Design & Build Team
Droughtscape LA serves La Cañada, Pasadena, Glendale, Eagle Rock, Burbank, Altadena and surrounding Los Angeles communities as an all-in-one Contractor for Outdoor Hardscape and Xeriscape Design and Installation.
Designing and Building Smarter Outdoor Spaces
People have become increasingly untrusting of companies in today’s marketplace. Too much of life is spent navigating a world where incompetence and inefficiency seem far too common. We’re very aware of the difficulties people face when working with generic Los Angeles contractors, and the heartache and horror stories we’ve heard over the years are astounding.
We’re excited to give our clients an entirely fresh experience when working with a home-improvement specialist. Our goal is for your entire project to be as stress-free as possible, and when it’s complete, we want you to be able to relax with real peace of mind while enjoying your outdoor spaces.
Good communication and efficiency shouldn’t be rare in business, but unfortunately they often are. Every member of our team is committed to operating at the highest level, and we take pride in showing people that working with a contractor can actually be a smooth and trustworthy experience.
Water regulations fluctuate, drought conditions continue, and wasted water becomes increasingly costly. Lawns die off, plants struggle, and many homeowners are left with little more than a patch of dirt. So what can be done about it?
Xeriscape: a style of landscape design requiring little or no irrigation or additional maintenance, typically used in arid regions.
Los Angeles is absolutely an arid region and regularly experiences drought conditions, whether people acknowledge it or not.
Changing the Los Angeles Landscape
Our sole intention is to help people bring life, art, and care back to our environment. We want to work with you to start creating the kind of change that’s desperately needed here in Los Angeles. Art has always moved society forward faster than almost anything else in human history. If we don’t begin taking steps in the right direction now, the problems we face will only become more personal and more difficult for everyone.
Our team is here to take your vision, refine it when needed, and turn it into reality. We want to help transform Los Angeles into a more thoughtful landscape — one that saves time, water, and money, and more importantly supports the ecosystem around us. Real change often starts small. One person, one idea, one project can create momentum that spreads further than anyone expects.
Freedom of expression is a human right, and it’s one we believe should be embraced fully. You’ve been envisioning that beautiful landscape for your home — now let’s bring it to life. Los Angeles is a wonderful place to be outside for most of the year, and you should be able to enjoy that at your own home.
You get what you pay for. There are plenty of teams out there who will charge less, but cheap rarely means better. More often than not, people end up paying far more trying to fix work that was done wrong the first time. Our goal is simple: do it right from the start. We stand behind every conversation, every decision, and every square inch of work completed on your property.
When in “drought,” go with the team that’s changing the Los Angeles landscape culture for the better — a team that operates with honesty, not desperation. We’re taking this city by storm, and we’d love to bring you along with us.

Founder & Lead Designer,
Cody Simpson
Hi, I’m Cody, the owner of Droughtscape LA. I handle the entire front end of the company and personally conduct every project consultation. I’ve spent over a decade riding motorcycles across Los Angeles to meet clients and design large, detailed drought and fire-resistant landscapes.
I’m grateful to be the person each client works with from the very beginning of their project, and I take every measure possible to ensure the entire process runs smoothly. My goal is simple: bring your vision to life, exceed expectations, and contribute in a meaningful way to the living ecosystem of Los Angeles.
Let’s do what must be done together.
