Droughtscape LA serves La Cañada, Pasadena, Glendale, Eagle Rock, Burbank, Altadena and other

Los Angeles areas as an all-in-one Contractor for Outdoor Hardscape and Xeriscape Design and Installation.

Our Mission

People have become more and more untrusting of companies in today's marketplace. Sadly, too much of your life is probably spent navigating the difficulties of a world where a lot of people seem incompetent and inefficient. We’re very aware of the difficulties people face when working with generic Los Angeles contractors, and the heartache and horror stories we’ve heard about over the years are astounding.

We're excited to give our clients an entirely fresh look at working with a home-improvement specialist. We want your entire project to be as stress-free as possible, and when we’re done, we want you to be able to relax and have a real peace of mind while enjoying your outdoor spaces.

People aren’t used to good communication and efficiency in business, but we can assure you that each of our team members are at the absolute top of their game and are only moving up from there, and we want to help people learn to trust again.

With the dramatic fluctuation of watering regulations and fines due to droughts and wasted water, and with the general distrust of contractors, there need to be at least some companies who can be trusted to get the job done the right way the first time. Water prices go up, watering restrictions go into place, your fragile grass and plants die off and you’re left with a dirt patch. So, what can be done about this?

Xeriscape definition: a style of landscape design requiring little or no irrigation or other maintenance, used in arid regions.

Los Angeles is definitely quite an arid region and is in drought conditions regularly, even though a lot of people pretend it’s not.

Our sole intention is to help people bring life, art and help to our environment. We want to work with you so we can start creating change that's desperately needed here in LA. Art changes and moves society faster than anything in human history. If we don't take a step in the right direction now, we're all going to have more and more problems that’ll affect us more and more personally.

Our team is here to take your vision, fine tune it if we even need to, and turn it into reality. We want to help change the entirety of Los Angeles into a more ideal landscape that saves everyone time, water and money; and more importantly, one that helps our ecosystem. It takes only one person to create a little bit of change, and then another, over and over, until it snowballs. One person, idea, action or project is absolutely significant, whether it seems small or not, and you could be that example.

Freedom of Expression is a human right, and it's a right that we all need to abuse as much as possible. You're the one who’s been envisioning that beautiful landscape and beautiful life for yourself, so embrace it and let’s make it happen. Los Angeles is a lovely place to be outside for 10+ months out of the year, and you should be able to enjoy that at your own home.

You pay for what you get, and there are plenty of other teams out there that charge less than us, but we all know that cheap rarely means better. You’ll always pay more for the cheap guy to finally get it “right” after three attempts than you would’ve if you paid real professionals to do it the right way the first time. We pride ourselves in outmatching our competition on every front and we stand by every communication, every decision and every square inch of work done on your property to make your experience worthwhile.

When in “drought”, go with the team that’s changing the Los Angeles Landscape Culture for the better, and who operates with honesty, not desperation. We’re taking this city by storm, and we’d love to bring you along with us.

Save Water, Droughtscape LA

Owner, Designer, Consultant

Cody Simpson

Hi, I’m Cody and I’m the owner of Droughtscape LA. I am essentially the entire front end of the company, and I take on every single project consultation personally. I have over a decade of experience riding motorcycles to large and elaborate drought and fire-resistant landscape assessments and designs all over Los Angeles.

I’m grateful to be the primary person every single client works with from the very start of their projects, and I take every possible measure to ensure the entire process runs smoothly. I am here to make your landscaping dreams become a reality, to go beyond your expectations, and to help the living ecosystem of Los Angeles as much as I can. Let’s do what must be done together.
